Our story begins in 1975 with Fred Henry Pickering, a former teacher who had a vision. Fred started by printing tickets for local shows and concerts, but his entrepreneurial spirit and love for teaching soon led him back to his roots - education. And so, EPSL Educational Printing was born!
With a clear goal in mind, Fred’s determination and commitment helped shape our early success. What started as a simple ticket printing business quickly expanded to include an expansive range of educational supplies, including our much-loved personalised exercise books, which remain amongst our best-sellers today.
As demand continued to grow, Fred expanded our product range to meet the evolving needs of our customers, laying the foundation for the business we are today. From those humble beginnings in Blackburn, we’ve grown to become the UK’s leading personalised exercise book printer.
