EPSL Educational Printing geared up to sponsor ‘Mental Elf’ challenge

We’re absolutely thrilled to be supporting Lancashire Mind as it gears up for its annual ‘Mental Elf’ fundraising challenge.

As with most things in 2020, the mental health charity has had to make a few changes to its flagship event and we’re delighted to be a sponsor for its first online challenge.

What was a brisk 5k run around Blackburn’s Witton Park is now a mega virtual 3,226km challenge - the equivalent distant of Lancashire to Lapland - and the charity is calling upon people across Lancashire to collectively clock up the impressive figure by running, walking, cycling or swimming between Tuesday 1st December and Saturday 12th December.

Russell Dawson, Director at EPSL Educational Printing, said: “We are so excited to be sponsoring the Mental Elf virtual finish line this year and it is great to be working with our friends at Lancashire Mind again. We have partnered with this charity on various projects for many years as its work is vital and, after an extremely difficult year for people across the county and indeed the world, it is more important than ever.

“While it is a shame that the Mental Elf run cannot go ahead in its usual format, it is wonderful that the team have come up with such a fantastic alternative and we are sure that all the participating elves will make it from Lancashire to Lapland and over the virtual finish line!"

If you’d like to get dressed up for a worthy cause, you can still register to take part in Mental Elf here: https://www.lancashiremind.org.uk/pages/206-mental-elf-2020
