    £3.99

Philip prepares to leave school and hold down a part time job, as well as coping with rationing, air raids and the discovery of a German parachute. When his father arranges for him to meet Douglas Bader, his hero gives him good advice and encouragement in the pursuit of his dream - to join the RAF and fly.

All events concerning Bader's life are as a accurate as possible, as are the major events at Coltishall and life during the war in that area. Each chapter represents a different month of the year.
