We have a growing number of authors who are experienced educational practitioners who give first hand knowledge of what is needed in today's schools.
Some of our authors featured on this website will be happy to visit schools and libraries on request. They hold story telling sessions and workshops for small or large groups of pupils and teachers. Featured Author: David Webb
David Webb is one of the very first authors of EPRINT Publishing. He is a former Head Teacher and he has won critical acclaim for his work. He has written a wide range of fiction titles for reluctant readers and several teachers’ resources too. David regularly conducts storytelling and creative writing workshops for various schools in Lancashire.

Stephanie Baudet
Stephanie Baudet is an author of children’s books and teacher resources. She was born in Cheshire and brought up in Australia and New Zealand. She returned to England in 1967 and now lives in Buckinghamshire. Stephanie loves to visit schools. She presents a flexible mix of reading, writing workshops and interactive games to help children explore different aspects of story construction.

Hazel Bennett
Hazel Bennett has been a teacher for over thirty years. She has taught in Primary, Secondary and Special Schools and has been a co-ordinator for English, Special Educational Needs and Religious Education. Hazel has written many class assembly play scripts. She has also appeared on Teachers’ TV as an advisor and written articles for Junior Education & Child Education.

Heather Butler
Heather Butler has been teaching in UK Primary Schools for 30 years. Now teaching part time she spends time writing and also leads inset training, R.E & spirituality days and story writing workshops where the whole school does stories all day! Heather is also involved with charities working with traumatised children. She is a story teller at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, a member of the National Association of Writers in Education and leads creative writing courses.

Paul Cleghorn
Paul Cleghorn works as a freelance education consultant offering advice, training and support to various schools and education authorities in Scotland. Using his knowledge and experience of working as a Head Teacher of a Primary school and as a Development Officer in Thinking Development, he has created a range of courses developing thinking and emotional intelligence through philosophical enquiry aimed at all ages from Nursery to Secondary school. Over the past seven years, Paul has published several books (which have been translated into Korean and Dutch) and given workshops, keynote addresses, and presentations in many parts of the UK. He has also spoken at several International Conferences on Thinking. He is currently Chair of SAPERE, the UK charity that promotes the development of philosophical enquiry in education.

Julia Jarman lives in Riseley, a village north of Bedford with her husband and two cats. Julia became a teacher after studying English and Drama at Manchester University. She frequently visits schools, libraries and colleges at home and abroad entertaining everyone with her dramatic readings and inspiring children to read.

Derek Keilty is a civil servant by day and a children’s author by night. He published his first children’s novel in 2003. He won an award in the Eason/Downtown Radio short story competition for best children’s book and later that year, wrote and illustrated his children’s story website. Derek has recently commenced visiting different schools and libraries in Northern Ireland for storytelling and workshops which have proved very successful.
Steve Killick
Dr. Steve Killick is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist working for the NHS in South Wales with young people with severe emotional and mental health problems. He has worked in both adult and child education and is Consultant Psychology Advisor to NCH Schools. Dr. Killick has also written and produced several training films in the areas of child development and mental health.
Dr. Killick has a long interest in story telling and has performed and taught in this area as well as using storytelling in his work.
Mark Bartholomew
Mark Bartholomew was born in Essex but now lives over the border in Suffolk. He is Head of History in a Middle School where he also teaches English. Mark attends literary festivals and conducts creative writing workshops for children.

Ian MacDonald is a writer and former Deputy Head Teacher. He had his first book, Mrs.Wrelton’s Dinosaur published in 2003. He regularly visits schools with a wide range of activities from infant story time to writing workshops with pupils of all ages. His work has been featured on BBC TV and Radio.
Ian MacDonald's books often contain simple vocabulary and are packed with amazing characters like strange aliens, a green dinosaur or a skateboarding granny!

Taffy Thomas
Taffy Thomas was a teacher, fisherman and circus entertainer before suffering a severe stroke at age 35. He reinvented himself to become a pioneer in the storytelling revival. His work was recognised when he received an MBE. He tells stories in schools all over the country and is Artistic Director of the Northern Centre for Storytelling. Rod Brockway
