Connections

This book offers a range of skill based art and design activities which can be used in conjunction with the study of the different faiths that children are introduced to at Key Stages One & Two. Those included are Christianity, Judaism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.

These activities are intended to support pupils' understanding of each faith and to enrich their awareness of different customs, costumes and celebrations that are embedded in, and are central to, the different religions.

The art and design activities aim to introduce pupils to a range of tools and techniques using both 2D and 3D materials and each activity is explained sequentially to make it easy to follow.
