Fiction First

Fiction First is a practical guide on how to respond to fiction at the levels demanded by Key Stage 3 and GCSE syllabi. It contains useful approaches to all areas of fiction, such as characters, characterisation, empathy etc., as well as providing a detailed focus on the various aspects of the writer's craft.

The book includes a range of help sheets, topic revision guides and exam strategies. It is suitable as a teaching resource and as a student revision guide. It will enable pupils to break down their learning into smaller, more manageable sections for examination revision.
