Romancing Mary

This play tracks Mary's life from the harsh grittiness of working class England, to the vibrant yet dangerous world of New York in the twenties. We share her experiences in Blitz-weary London and the generation clash of the rock 'n' roll years.

Mary's tale is rich with memorable characters and incidents and we see the most dynamic century the world has ever known through the eyes of this delightful and mischievous lady!

Pupils will enjoy this whirlwind tour of the last century. They'll laugh with Mary - and some may even cry! Many will look at our senior citizens with a new, more understanding eye.
