About Educational Printing Services Limited
Educational Printing Services Limited, based in Blackburn, Lancashire, was established in 1975 by Fred Pickering, an ex-school teacher. With a single old style Platen Letterpress and two employees, Fred started a small commercial business in Blackburn’s Whalley Banks producing tickets for local shows and concerts. The company also used to print season tickets and programmes for the Blackburn Rovers Football Club and carry out various other works for Chelsea and Reading Football Clubs. The company made a move to bigger premises in 1993 with factory space of 32,000 sq. ft in Great Harwood.
Later Fred and his colleagues started to tour education exhibitions where they had the idea for Exercise Books thus expanding the business. The company at present produces nearly 2 million standard and bespoke exercise books a year. Aswell as exercise books, the company also produces other educational resources such as pupil booklets, pupil diaries & planners, school reports etc. that can be personalised to further enhance the school image.

EPRINT Publishing
EPRINT Publishing, the publishing division of Educational Printing Services Limited, provides a wide range of teacher and pupil resources in almost every school subject from foundation stage through to secondary school. The company has nearly 45 authors who are experienced educational practitioners. EPRINT Publishing also offers a full range of educational materials and resources that run alongside the lesson being taught, for example, rubber stamps, friezes, puppets etc.
Foreign Rights
EPRINT Publishing has had a number of titles translated by distinguished foreign publishers but we are always looking to grow our business with new and innovative publishers. We will be happy to receive any enquiries for Foreign Rights for any of the titles shown within our catalogue.
We are extremely proud of our Teacher/Parent Resource Books which have been written by qualified teachers and headteachers and we believe the content of our books to be of the highest quality. Our 'Grab & Go' books provide quick resources for teachers and parents to readily use, without the need for reading lengthy introductions. In addition, our growing range of titles for reluctant readers follows the British Dyslexia Association guidelines and provides fascinating and interesting reads to both dyslexia sufferers and disengaged readers.
